Frequently Asked Questions
How much room do they take?
Our bouncy castles come in a variety of sizes, make sure you check the size of your garden before hiring a castle. The sizes of the castles are shown in the castle information box. It is also recommended that the castle has 1 meter clear on all sides and this area must be clear of tree branches or anything to that effect.
What surface can the castles go on?
We recommend that the castles are on grass, but they can be put onto concrete with a ground sheet to protect the bottom of the castle. If the castle is going indoors any indoor surface will be okay.
How does the castle stay blown up?
The castles come with an electric fan and will need a continuous supply of power. the fan and and extension cables are included in the hire price and will not need any addition payment.
How long does it take to set up?
It takes approximately 10 minutes to set-up but can be more depending on the ease of access to the garden or place the castle is being set-up.
How many people can be on the castle at once?
The amount of children allowed on the castle at any one time depends on the size or the castle and children, it is at the hirers discretion what is safe.
What happens if it rains?
The castles all come with a built in rain/sun cover and all the equipment is water proof so the castle can be used in the rain although the front set may become slippery. If the rain is significantly heavy and the castles becomes unsafe the children should be taken off but the castle should be left inflated until Jumping Jimmys staff come to collect it. The castle may have to be collected early is the rain is severe.
What happens if I want to cancel?
If the hirer wishes to cancel the hire they should ring Jumping Jimmys on: 027 366 2204. Any cancellations may result in loss of deposit.
